On a watercolor piece of paper, I rough out a sketch of a faery. I usually use blue pencil crayon. When that is complete, I use a kneadable eraser to rub down the drawing, so that it is just a slight trace of the drawing. I do this becasuse when watercolored, the pencil crayon doesn't show through as heavily.
